Fork Springs
Posted (admin) in parts on April-29-2011

I don’t know too many people who ride mini-bikes, but I do think a set of fork springs on the front end are a good idea. The fork springs raise the front end, reducing the risk of bottoming out and improving the rider’s ability to cross rough terrain without stressing the bike too much.

Front bumper
Posted (admin) in ATV on March-21-2011

Before you hit the local trail for the first time this year, make sure all your equipment is in good working order. If you need to replace a couple of ATV parts, don’t let it go. I’ve seen too many people have ATV issues creep up that could have been avoided if they had only taken the time to fix the problem, like a front bumper for instance.

Steering adapter
Posted (admin) in accessories on March-11-2011

One of the great things about owning an ATV is the amount of customization available. If you don’t like the headlights or there are better ones available, you can change them. Don’t like the suspension? Upgrade it. You can’t do that as easily with a car. One thing that really makes the ATV yours is the steering wheel. We all have have different sized hands, so the same steerng wheel may not work for everyone. So, the answer is to find a steering wheel that suits you best and get a steering adapter to make sure it will fit on the steering column.

Shock Coolers
Posted (admin) in parts on March-7-2011

It’s a basic fact of science and physics that two materials rubbing against each other causes friction. Create enough friction and you end up creating heat. Create enough heat and you lose the ability to rub the materials together. That’s the whole purpose of oil in an engine; to keep the parts moving smoothly and reduce heat. Well, shocks have the same ability to generate heat from friction. To counteract that, consider installing front shock coolers to help dissipate the heat when riding.

Twist Throttle
Posted (admin) in accessories on February-23-2011

Most ATVs come with a thumb throttle. While this makes shifting on even ground easier, it’s murder on bumpy trails, which is about 80% of the trails out there. So, to mkae life a little easier on your thumb, install this twist throttle. It’s similar to what motorcycles have and your wrist has more muscle so it can handle the throttle much easier.

Clutch Belt
Posted (admin) in parts on December-1-2010

This is a little tip I learned from some friends of mine. When you get done winterizing your ATV, then the next step is to make sure you have the proper equipment ready for when you pull it out of storage. Having spare parts, such as spark plugs and clutch belts, means you will be able to hit the trail when the weather turns for the better.

Arrester Silencer
Posted (admin) in parts on August-23-2010

This silencer does exactly what the name suggests. It cuts down on noise from the engine but does so in a way that doesn’t sacrifice speed or power. The design also makes sure that no sparks leave the exhaust system, in case you ride a lot in heavily forested areas.

3 in 1 hitch
Posted (admin) in accessories, parts on July-2-2010

Now I can convert my conventional hitch into a versatile 3 in 1 hitch. I can now have a ball, attach a pin hitch and have the option of adding a tow loop. I decided I would be crazy not to get this. What makes the deal even sweeter is the price, 29.99 for the whole thing.
